Only 6 months after the start of all developments on Ilha do Guajiru, the island's management managed to arrange a brandnew gsm spot to become operative at Ilha do Guajiru!

Right at the entrance, after you leave itarema, pass the lowlands, and just start to move between the cocopalms, is where the spot is located.

The spot is meanwhile marked as the island's official gsm spot, so everyone can easily find it's location.

Also in itarema you can find various spots in the centre:

Near the fuel station, in front of the tyreshop "borracharia", located on the road direction almofala, right next to it in fact, where is an old tree.

In front of the college ("collegio"), on the road outwards itarema towards acarau, located well before nethus club, is where you will find excellent network, ready for use.

On top, in the week of 15 September 2008 the management of Ilha do Guajiru made closed agreements with the famous mobile phone provider TIM and OI to supply gsm coverage to Ilha do Guajiru! Around December 2008, both networks will start to cover the entire island.

The management forecasts to distribute (free) internet on various spots on the island.
