In the high season, when lots of kiters and other participants in watersports are visiting Ilha do Guajirú, some of the island’s famous beach parties are organised.

Mostly held during the weekends on Praia da Barra, where people stay and have a drink after a good day on the water, they start at dusk and continue on into the night!

Mr. Toca, of pousada do Toca at Praia da Barra knows how to organise them: BBQ and Caipirinha for everyone and local forró played from the back of a pickup truck!

He can also prepare a private BBQ, for fellow kiters, your family or friends!

But make sure he brings the island’s famous, mouth-watering lobsters, an amazing experience, he really knows how to cook them...

When staying at Ilha do Guajirú, you should at least join one of the island’s beach parties, they are cool.
