On the 1st of July 2008 a well prepared promotional campaign will start off on Ilha do Guajirú consisting of the following activities, taking place both in the North East of Brazil as well as in Europe and globally.

• an animated banner on windguru.com worldwide
• an animated banner on kiteforum.de, Germany
• a promotional kiosk in the centre of Cumbuco offering all (shuttle and travel) services and information
• poster size banners showing the island everywhere at bars, restaurants, pousada’s, fuel stations etc.
• biz cards distribution with the island’s website address
• flyers distributed at many beaches
• distribution of caps and t-shirts carrying the island’s new logo
• buggy and taxi’s promoting the island’s new website
• distribution of the island’s DVD to all major travel organisations
• island flags positioned at watersports centres everywhere
• some of the world’s best PKRA kiters will be invited to come and discover Ilha do Guajirú (Aaron Hadlow, already received his invitation)

Accompanied by these promotional activities, the promo team of Ilha do Guajirú, consisting of 6 enthusiastic and fanatic water sports persons will make sure this island gets to it’s goal of becoming Brazil Hotspot no. 1!
