July 2010 - Various bars and restaurants closing in Cumbuco!

After the discovery of Ilha do Guajiru back in 2008, more and more visitors start having their holidays at Ilha do Guajiru, the Flatwatersea!

Due to this, various restaurants, bars and pousada's in Cumbuco and elsewhere are closing down, or start limiting their opening hours to the peak months only, due to the change in movement.

The bistro, the sushi restaurant (opposite of the bakery), beach break (next to Duro beach), the bistro right at the arrival road, hi-life, mystic, magia, villas do cumbuco, the piranha bar, the reggae bar next to pizzeria Italia .. they all closed down due to down running turnover and fading clientele.

The trend is quite clear and set:

Kiteboarders and windsurfers prefer to spend their holidays less and less at the traditional spots and visit and accept some NE adventurous travel instead due to:

• our more windy conditions!
• our bluer waters
• our showers and kitecompressors at the beach!
• our biggest flatwater conditions: (50x larger then Cauipe)
• our clean and ecological nature: (NO dirt of any kind)
• our daily choice of flatwater or waves: all in one spot!
• our rapidly improving and growing facilities: new pousada's,    bars, restaurants and watersport centres everywhere!
